Scania Euro 5 exhaust manifold

What is an exhaust manifold? This is a set of pipes made of strong and corrosion-resistant cast iron. Each cylinder has a separate tube that extracts harmful gases from it. They all go to the connecting pipe and then to the EGR exhaust gas cooler, some of which goes to the turbocharger and again to the combustion chamber, and the rest to the catalytic converter. All this to reduce exhaust emissions as much as possible in accordance with Euro 6 standards in Scania cars.
