What is an AdBlue Dispenser?

The AdBlue dispenser is an element of the SCR (selective catalytic reduction) system in vehicles with diesel engines. Its task is to precisely dose AdBlue fluid (supplied by the AdBlue pump), i.e. a solution of urea in water, into the exhaust gas stream before the SCR catalytic converter. AdBlue is used to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, which helps vehicles meet stringent exhaust emission standards.

Causes of AdBlue Injector Damage

- AdBlue fluid contamination: If the AdBlue fluid is of poor quality or contains impurities, it may lead to clogging of the injector. Solid particles or other substances may block the injector's patency.

- Incorrect AdBlue quality: Using low-quality AdBlue that does not meet certain standards may cause damage to the injector.
